Archaeological Explorers
Deep Ancient Archaeology Group UK (DAA)
About Us
Driven by Curiosity. United by Discovery.
The Deep Ancient Archaeology Group (DAA) is a global community of explorers, researchers, and thinkers who believe that the story of human history is far from complete. Founded in the early 1990s and based in London, DAA brings together individuals—both professional and amateur—who are passionate about ancient civilizations, lost knowledge, and unexplained archaeological phenomena.
This platform is your window into our world: a place to learn about our field expeditions, join thought-provoking discussions, and connect with others who are equally fascinated by the mysteries of the past. Whether you're here to collaborate, study, or simply explore ideas, we welcome you.
DAA is more than a group—it’s a movement to challenge assumptions, rethink timelines, and rediscover what has been hidden beneath the surface of history.

Exploring the Forgotten Chapters of Human History
Who We Are
The Deep Ancient Archaeology Group (DAA) was founded in the early 1990s by Donald J. Beaudry Jr. and Kadek Grimaldi Beaudry as a grassroots initiative to investigate the origins of civilization beyond mainstream timelines. Based in London, DAA has evolved into a global, open-access community for those fascinated by archaeology, ancient enigmas, and unexplained histories.
Though not formally trained archaeologists, the founders have traveled to over 100 countries—visiting both well-known and rarely explored sites, often in politically sensitive or geographically remote regions.
Our Mission
DAA exists to bring together curious minds, independent researchers, field archaeologists, historians, and explorers—both amateur and professional—who believe that the story of human civilization is far older and more complex than commonly accepted.
We promote collaboration, open dialogue, and the respectful exchange of theories and field data. Our focus is on asking difficult questions, analyzing overlooked evidence, and revisiting ancient narratives with fresh eyes.
Where We've Explored
Our group has participated in on-site visits, independent studies, and field research in:
-
The Amazon Rainforest – Searching for pre-Columbian geoglyphs, mound cultures, and vanished cities
-
Tassili n’Ajjer, Algeria – Studying thousands of enigmatic prehistoric petroglyphs in the Sahara
-
Libya – Investigating Berber fortresses and stone formations beneath shifting sands
-
Peru – Analyzing pre-Inca engineering and megalithic alignments in Cusco and the Sacred Valley
-
Mongolia – Exploring Scythian burial sites and early nomadic civilizations
-
North Korea – Observing mytho-political sites and historic continuity under secrecy
-
India–Pakistan Border Region – Researching legacy trade routes and abandoned Harappan-era ruins
