The Enigma of Angkor

English
Angkor: The Enigma
No one truly knows how old Angkor is, who first built it, or the full extent of its reach.
Its sheer size and complexity defy conventional history. Some estimates suggest its influence—or perhaps even its physical span—may have once stretched as far as Borobudur on the island of Java in Indonesia.
What we see today is only a fragment, weathered by centuries yet still standing in silent defiance. Angkor is more than stone; it is an unanswered riddle—an enigma wrapped in perplexity—challenging all we think we know about the ancient world.

CHAPTERS
Origins of Life
How did we really get here?
Before the cities.
Before the stories.
Before time itself.
By Donald J. Beaudry Jr.
This is not a book of theories—
but a pursuit of truth.
Truth etched in stone,
whispered through silence,
and written in the stars.

CHAPTERS
The greatest mystery on Earth is our past.
Where did we really come from?
Who built the ancient structures no one can explain?
And why does so much of early history simply not add up?
These questions never led me to a classroom—they led me to the edges of the known world.
I’ve traveled through North Korea. I’ve lived in Libya. I’ve crossed the silent deserts of Syria, Niger, and Algeria. I’ve explored parts of Asia so remote they barely appear on maps.
These weren’t vacations. They were chapters of my life. I wasn’t chasing adventure—I was searching for answers.
Along the way, I formed lasting friendships with people whose lives would later intersect with history. Saif al-Islam, the son of Colonel Muammar Gaddafi, once sat beside me in class at OCS School in Tripoli. Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa—now King of Bahrain—was my classmate at the Bahrain School in Manama. As teenagers, we spoke of lost civilizations, forgotten knowledge, and the possibility that humanity’s true timeline is far older—and far stranger—than we’ve been told.
I never set out to prove what I believed.
I set out because something didn’t make sense.
CHAPTERS is the true story of that search.

BEAUDRY: A True Story
A hidden chapter of North American history—spanning vast land empires, private banks, gold and silver fortunes, and political movements bold enough to redraw the map itself.
From the 19th-century ambitions of Prudent, Victor, and Jean-Louis Beaudry—whose holdings stretched from downtown Los Angeles to Arcadia, UCLA, and even the ground where Disneyland’s Main Street now stands—to the founding of the Banque Jacques-Cartier in Montreal, issuing their own currency before evolving into today’s National Bank of Canada, the Beaudry legacy is one of bold enterprise.
Jean-Louis, three-time mayor of Montreal and vice president of the Société des Fils de la Liberté, signed the 1849 Montreal Annexation Manifesto—joining a movement that, if successful, would have redrawn North America.
This legacy carried into the modern era through the extraordinary career of an international lawyer and the unconventional path of an explorer-entrepreneur, revealing how one family’s ambition and resilience have quietly shaped history.

Evolution
Donald J. Beaudry Jr.
Global Explorer | Builder of Advanced Trading Algorithms for the Hedge Fund Industry
From the shifting sands of the Sahara to the pulse of global financial markets, my life has been a journey across two frontiers—ancient and modern. I’ve stood in the ruins of civilizations that defy our understanding and built systems of intelligence designed to navigate the complexities of today’s markets. Over 100 countries have shaped my path, from the trading floors of London, New York, and Hong Kong to the megaliths of Peru, the deserts of Syria, and the islands whispered about in legend.
Archaeology & the Human Story
I have spent decades tracing our origins through forgotten landscapes and enigmatic structures that challenge conventional history. Highlights of my explorations include:
-
Sacred Valley, Peru – Megalithic engineering at Machu Picchu and Ollantaytambo.
-
Gobi Desert, Mongolia – The mysterious Deer Stones.
-
Santorini, Greece – Akrotiri and Thera, linked to Atlantis legends.
-
Palmyra, Syria – A testament to ancient cultural crossroads.
-
Sahara Desert – Prehistoric cave art at Tassili n’Ajjer.
-
Amazon Basin, Brazil – Geoglyphs hinting at advanced pre-Columbian societies.
I believe our past is far older and more complex than modern timelines suggest—a story written in lost technologies, civilizational resets, and the enduring quest for meaning.
From Ancient Intelligence to Artificial Intelligence
Just as ancient builders engineered with precision beyond our understanding, I’ve sought to build systems of intelligence for the modern world.
I’m the founder of BlkEdgeAi, a financial intelligence platform that develops advanced trading algorithms for the hedge fund industry. Our focus is on high-performance market modeling and AI-powered economic strategies.
Global Roots & Education
Growing up across Indonesia, Bahrain, and Libya, I gained a worldview shaped by diversity and curiosity. My education includes:

Jakarta International School – Jakarta, Indonesia
-
Bahrain School (DoDEA) – Manama, Bahrain
-
Oil Company Schools (OCS) – Tripoli, Libya
-
Hawaii Pacific College – Hotel Management & Political Science
-
Advanced studies through MIT OpenCourseWare & Bloomberg Academy

Unfinished Journeys
Five destinations still call to me—each holding a key to humanity’s forgotten chapters:
-
Easter Island, where the silent Moai guard an untold past.
-
Nan Madol, where impossible stone structures rise in the middle of nowhere.
-
Antarctica, concealing ancient secrets beneath miles of ice.
-
Arkaim, the sky-watching city of the Eurasian steppes.
-
Lena Delta, where life itself might have first begun.
My Philosophy
"I seek the unknown. In ruins, in data, and in the spaces between, I follow the threads that link our past to the future we have yet to build."
